Robert Lopez Jr. Success Story
- Posted on: Dec 2 2016
Our sons’ first grade teacher noticed a problem with his tracking. His reading and writing was very poor, which in turn was affecting his confidence in school.
We took Robert to an Optometrist we were told he had 20/20 vision and he was very sensitive to light. Robert continued to suffer, and his teacher was very persistent.
A family member told us about Dr. Carl Hillier and his work. When we contacted his office, they were very quick to help, and see our son. Tests proved to find the tracking issues and weak eye muscles, Dr. Hillier explained everything thoroughly and we decided to start Robert on vision therapy.
In just a matter of 4 weeks, our son read a book, in the car on the way home. This would have usually, been a very big deal to even sit down and think about reading the book. Now our son is almost caught up with his grade level, in reading and writing. And what vision therapy has done for his confidence, we will be forever grateful.
Respectfully,
Irma and Roberto Lopez
