Dear Dr. Hillier,
Thank you so much for all the help you have given me with my vision problems. I have actually liked coming to the San Diego Center for Vision Care because your staff is so nice. They made the therapy fun. But I know it had a very serious purpose. My grades and test scores were okay before (but not great), and I often had trouble finishing my assignments at school and at home. I also wore bifocals and had problems copying from the board at school.
Now that I have been in vision therapy, I don’t need bifocals anymore, just reading glasses. I can also complete my work faster. My grades and test scores have improved. In fact, I was awarded the President’s Academic Award last week because I got all A’s on my report card and scored in the top 85% on standardized tests. I was one of three students in my whole 5th grade class to get this award.
I think the vision therapy has helped me with my sports and music too. Thank you, again, for your help. I am really glad you helped us figure out what my vision problems were and that you helped me fix them. Thank you to all of your friendly and helpful staff, too.
